About Me

Hi, my name is Erica and I like to help my friends to find new ways of managing their time and their money. In fact, I love it so much that I decided to try to learn how to make planner stickers and document that journey here, too.

I would like to help you to explore the realm of time management, productivity, and budgeting. There’s nothing quite like a visual representation of your time and a written reminder of what needs to be done. I plan to share all the strategies I use in my own home to stay on track of where/when I need to be and what needs to get done.

I am really good at stretching a dollar and getting things done efficiently. I don’t have it all figured out. Nobody does! Single parenting made me scrappy, though, and I want to share that with you.

Also, I am good at learning and passing that information on to others. This blog will be a means of documenting what it’s like to start a side hustle from the ground level. It will be a way for others to see exactly what goes into getting one going and how long it takes to be profitable. Take a hobby and make it lucrative.

Since you’re here, I already consider you a new friend. Welcome, friend. Here are some random things about me.

  1. I am a Kentucky girl.
  2. I love pizza.
  3. My 5th grade teacher was convinced I’d be a great writer one day. (I’m not convinced this is what she expected. LOL)
  4. One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to visit living history sites. Visiting historic Williamsburg is on my bucket list!
  5. Most of my adult life has been spent single parenting.
  6. Murder mysteries are my favorite!
  7. I started singing karaoke in a local dive when I was 15 years old. (It was across from the skating rink – where I was supposed to be.)
  8. My family is everything to me.
  9. My daughter and first grandbaby are living with me right now and I’m loving it.
  10. I placed 1st at regionals and 2nd at state in the Future Business Leaders Accounting competition in high school. (Who doesn’t love competitions, right?)

Anyway, welcome. I’m glad you’re here. Stay a while. 🙂
