5 Ways I Want to Help YOU

My blog exists to document my journey to becoming a sticker shop owner and to help people like you manage all. the. things.

Life stuff. It’s everywhere and, if not carefully managed, it can spiral out of control so easily. This is the type of thing that, for some people, seems just out of reach. For other people, like me, it just comes naturally.

I’ve had friends that pick on me over my color-coded lists and calendars, but it’s all in good fun. Those same friends are the ones that want me to explain how and why I do the things I do. Recently, I’ve incorporated functional stickers and I am in love!

So… the big question is: What are my main goals here?

  1. Demonstrate first-hand experience of what entrepreneurship looks like from the ground up.

Yep. You read that right. I’m so in love with functional stickers that I’m learning to make them myself and I plan to open a shop so I can share my own creations with you.

Along the way, I’ll document the ups, downs, pitfalls, and successes of my entrepreneurial adventure. This way, people who want to start a shop of their own can have a real-time documented journey to follow. No get rich quick things here. (Although, I wouldn’t complain if it worked out that way.)

Follow along and you’ll have some idea of how long the process is, what works, and what doesn’t. If it ends up not taking off, well… at least we’ll all learn something new, right? 😉

  1. Empower people with the skills needed to better manage their time and resources.

I really do love planning out time and keeping track of all.the.things. I’ve been using a planner since I started working 24 years ago. Wow. That’s been a long time.

What I keep track of and how I track it has changed over time. I suspect the same will be true for anyone following this blog. I’ll share with you where I started and what’s different about how I do things now. My goal here is to provide you with a framework that you can use to help you live a life you love.

  1. Recommend only the best products to help you to live your most timely and productive life.

Planners, pens, pencils, stickers, highlighters…. products are everywhere. Some are obviously better than others. While personal preference plays a big role here, my goal is to introduce you to the best products I’ve used at the various points of my planning journey.

I promise to never share any product that I have not used personally. Also, I won’t falsify a review. If I don’t care for it, I’ll be sure to tell you up front.

  1. Help you gain confidence in your ability to get things done.

Just like you, I still strive to learn new things about how to better manage my own productivity. Other people don’t see that, though. They like to refer to me as “having it all together.” So, let’s work on getting our confidence up and recognizing that the new things we’re learning are definitely helping us get our s#!& together.

To this end, I will be sharing strategies that I have implemented throughout my adult life that help me manage adulting. As we go along, I will also share any new methods I learn.

  1. Write a weekly blog post to help you on your time management and/or entrepreneurial journeys.

I commit to making biweekly posts covering things from planning basics, planning tools, and time management strategies. Budgeting, meal planning, time blocking… there are so many different tools to cover that this shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Also, I plan to use the alternate weeks to provide updates on my sticker planner business. This journey will start from the very beginning: learning to make the stickers. This way you can get whatever information you’re most interested in.

Conclusion

I’m looking forward to sharing my decades of experience of navigating time management with you. I can’t wait to hear the stories of how you’ve implemented the strategies and tips I share to make your own lives easier. That’s the point, right!

I also can’t wait to share the small business journey with you. Fingers crossed it’s a successful journey, but it’ll be a learning experience anyway. Let’s do this thing!
